A dynamic plaintiff law firm is seeking a Research and Writing Attorney to join their team! This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled writer with a strong legal research background to contribute to meaningful cases while working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

THIS ROLE IS 100% REMOTE FOR A FIRM IN CALIFORNIA. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CALIFORNIA BAR LICENSE AND J.D. FROM ACCREDITED LAW SCHOOL.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on various issues, including personal injury, employment law, and civil litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other critical legal documents.
• Research case law, statutes, and regulations to develop sound legal arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to support case strategy development.
• Analyze discovery materials and summarize findings relevant to case preparation.
• Stay current with legal trends, rulings, and updates that may impact ongoing or potential cases.
• Help create client deliverables, such as demand letters and settlement packages.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar licensure in the jurisdiction of the firm or the ability to attain reciprocity.
• 3+ years of experience in legal research and writing, preferably in litigation.
• Strong knowledge of legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with plaintiff-side litigation or civil litigation is preferred but not required.
