Come join Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) as the Head of Business Operations for Accountants in the Mid-market space. This is a role on an exciting team that is building out the long-term strategy for mid-market growth with accountants globally. Intuit is actively seeking a strategic leader who can lead Business Operations in the accountant space, focusing on one of Intuit’s big bets: driving growth in the mid-market. Accountants play a critical role in this as customers, partners, and a channel for growth. The Head of Accountant Business Operations for the Mid-Market will focus on the long-term strategy, planning, and execution of high impact initiatives across a large set of cross-functional team of leaders in GBSG. This is a role with broad exposure to many senior leaders and requires very strong organizational and program management skills, as well as clarity of communication and presentation abilities. Candidates should also have experience developing business and/or corporate strategies and connecting those to clear implementation plans. Note, the role is preferably but not required to be based in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities
• Partner with the sponsors and accountable leaders to shape and drive an initiative-level strategy, defining and ensuring the end-to-end experience outcomes and overall initiative input and outcome goals (strategic, customer, financial).
• Shape strategy, drive execution, and constantly push your initiative forward, ensuring it is on the desired trajectory.
• Work across x-functional mission team to enable work, set pace, and surface blockers that need resolution or escalation.
• Act as the source of truth on progress and impact, formalizing leading indicators and key milestones, working across Biz Ops / project management office (PMO) teams to report on progress and ensure consistent status roll up and metrics.
• Surface opportunities and risks, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations. Partner with cross-functional leaders to successfully implement recommendations and be jointly accountable for outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit and SBSEG leadership team to ensure that we are thinking holistically across multiple business segments and functions in the context of driving growth.
• Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow
• Run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work together
