About the position
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with schools to build teacher and administrative capacity through evidence-based coaching, curriculum, and professional development.
• Develop positive working relationships with a diverse group of teachers and administrators through large group sessions as well as individualized side-by-side support.
• Evaluate data and conduct in-class visits to assess and communicate professional learning plans that strengthen academic performance, school culture, and climate.
• Support schools in strengthening pedagogy and implementing instructional planning to ensure effective teaching in classrooms.
• Lead schools in reviewing, developing, organizing, and implementing rigorous standards-aligned curriculum.
Requirements
• 8 years working in K-12 schools
• Strong working knowledge of State Standards
• High level of competence in facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability using Google Classroom, Zoom, and other education-related technology tools
• Personal technology equipment (laptop computer, mobile device, and working camera) to be used during on-site workshop facilitation at client locations
• Reliable, high-speed internet to participate in ongoing professional growth
• Current teaching and/or administration certification copies
• Ability to lift 5 to 10 pounds
Nice-to-haves
• Masters Degree
• Minimum 3 years' experience in any of the following roles: Mentor, Supervisor or Coach
• Virtual Teaching and Learning experience
• Professional Development experience (design, implementation, facilitation, and leading)
