Job Title: Remote Dispatcher & Scheduler (100% Work From Home)
Location: Remote from Latin America
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $1,500 USD/month + 15% bonus based on KPI
Schedule: see below
• 8-hour shifts (5 days) - Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat
• Start time: 9 am PST
• Finish time : 6 pm PST
• Lunch break period: 30 min and two 15 min break
• Available for extra hours if needed
Job Overview
Our client provides convenient, stress-free mobile pet grooming services. Their fully equipped vans bring personalized, high-quality grooming right to clients’ homes. They prioritize pet safety, comfort, and exceptional customer care as part of a trusted national franchise. Join their team to work with a passionate, supportive group dedicated to making every pet look and feel their best.
Responsibilities:
• Answering incoming calls, returning voicemails and texts, and email correspondence. This includes professional handling of customer complaints, and resolution within one’s scope.
• Informing customers on the services and prices our company provides, especially as applicable to their breeds and their pet’s needs and health, and making appropriate recommendations.
• Capturing accurately the appropriate information to set up an appointment for the customer.
• Maintaining groomers’ fully-booked schedules by creating/rescheduling/canceling appointments, in collaboration with groomers.
• Brief groomers about their daily schedule, highlighting unusual circumstances and situations they may encounter.
• Respond to calls/texts from groomers in the field, in real-time, regarding customer and pet issues. This requires the ability to multi-task by setting priorities among inputs.
• Review of the schedule at the end of the day for completed appointments, verifying charges and payments.
• Take credit card payments over the phone, especially when groomers are outside of cell service.
• Run and analyze reports to assist in gaining and improving client retention.
• Keep management and other dispatchers informed of any issues, actions, or problems.
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to explain our services to customers, and book new and existing customer appointments.
• 2+ years of Customer Service or relevant experience.
• Must be very reliable, organized, flexible, empathetic, polite, a team player, professional, and have exceptional listening skills.
• The ideal candidate would be naturally sociable with great customer service skills and a good knowledge of the layout of the geography and commuter routes within the SF Bay Area.
• Working knowledge of Google docs and sheets or Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple calls or issues at the same time.
• Positive attitude and a team player – we thrive on good vibes and supporting each other!
• Being a dog lover is definitely a plus!
• English & Spanish speaker
